I’m Cheryl Hassell, the owner, seamstress, purchasing agent and satisfaction department of Attitude and Apron. The business also includes three Bernina sewing machines, a serger, a rivet press, a grommet press and a room full of high quality fabrics with which I make to order the aprons you need.
After many happy hours in the kitchen I understand what is necessary to make a functional and attractive apron that meets the needs of passionate cooks like me. I develop my patterns to ensure that you get something unique. I then sew them with an attention to detail because the little things make a difference.
I have very much enjoyed the hunt for quality fabrics, grommets, rivets and twill tape and the interesting people and companies with whom I have gotten to know and work. Attitude and Apron offers long wearing denims from Japan, Italy and Turkey as well as North Carolina’s own Cone Mills, and linens from Lithuania and other European countries. No one who has seen pictures of Egyptian mummies wrapped in linen which is thousands of years old needs to be told that linen is durable.
Because I created my patterns, I understand how to adapt them to the special needs of my customers. Because I am a one woman shop making my aprons myself, I can tailor them to the needs of my customers incorporating special design features which my customers may require and give them the personal attention which they deserve. This has been useful for restaurants and caterers who may need their own special look. I can give solid advice and suggestions based both on my own kitchen experience and the feedback which I welcome from my customers.
My goal is to give you the apron you need and want. I’m here to help with your apron needs. Please just give me a shout.
Custom, personalized, and/or sale aprons are not returnable or refundable.
